Aspire S3 is a thin, light and compact Ultrabook, with case made of Magnesium alloy. Overall, with 13.3-inch wide screen, it appears stiff. But nevertheless, its display has some kind of flex; compared to Toshiba‘s Z830 with more flexi screen.
Weighing 1.35Kg, S3 has aluminum lid rest in plastic with dash in magnesium alloy. With its contrasting brushed metal lid and vibrant grey color gives an eye catchy appearance. Its scratch proof and dust repellent body makes others in the same series, envious of its great build.
Extra slimness of the product shifts all ports to the extreme rear spine. On right, a 3.5mm jack stands, while on the left is the slot for memory card.
